Know Before You Go
Where you stay is an important part of the tour experience, therefore, we have handpicked hotels along your journey for the best locations, accommodations in the area and ambiance. All of our hotels have a Trip Advisor rating of 4 or better. Most of our tours indicate which hotel you will be staying at in the daily schedule.
To accommodate both family travel and those looking forward to traveling exclusively with adults, we offer two different options: 18 and older tour dates (adult) as well as our family-friendly dates, 8 years and older.
Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP)
There are about two dozen daily flights into Rapid City, SD on Delta, United, American, Allegiant or Sun Country.
Jackson Hole Airport (JAC)
American, Delta, and United Airlines all offer year-round flights to and from Jackson Hole. Frontier Airlines offers direct flights between Jackson Hole and Denver in the summer months only.

Rapid City Hotel: The Holiday Inn Rushmore Plaza
The Holiday Inn Rushmore Plaza is approximately 12 miles from the Rapid City Regional Airport and is located at 505 North, 5th Street, Rapid City, SD, 57701. (605) 348-4000
The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. Please call the hotel upon arrival to schedule your pickup. When departing the hotel, please sign up for the airport shuttle to secure the appropriate shuttle time for your flight.
The complimentary hotel shuttle will also take you within a 5-mile radius of the hotel should you want to explore downtown Rapid City, or if you find yourself in need of a few items from the grocery or drug store.
The elevation in Rapid City, SD is approximately 3,200 ft with an elevation of approximately 5,300 ft at Devils Tower, Wyoming.
In Yellowstone National Park Our average elevation is approximately 7800 ft.
The weather can change quickly in the area and summer rain showers are quite common.

Gratuities throughout the trip are included for all group meals, housekeeping, and any activities. Gratuities for the Tour Director and Driver are not included.
Our group size depends on each individual tour, but most of our tours average 28 passengers or less.
Hotel Incidental Charges
If you make any telephone calls from your hotel room or incur any extra room charges (i.e... drinks, food, or in-room movie charges) please be sure to pay for these incidental charges before you leave the hotel. Some hotels will require you to provide a credit card imprint to the hotel before allowing any incidental charges.

Due to space limitations, only one normal-sized piece of luggage, weighing up to 50 pounds, may be brought per person. In addition, one small handbag and/or flight bag may be personally carried.
Motorcoach Seat Rotation
To ensure fair and equitable seating for all guests of the tour, seating on the motor-coach will be rotated daily. You will be seated with your traveling companions.
Your Tour Director will advise you of the procedure.
Room assignments are made by the hotel at their discretion and availability with regards to the rooming list PST furnishes 30+ days prior to the tour date. If you have a special room request, such as king bed, refrigerator for medication or special needs, please advise PST with as much advance notice as possible before the tour begins. We are pleased to forward your requests to the hotel, however, No Guarantees can be made as these requests are at the discretion and availability of the hotel. All tour members are treated equally in regard to special requests.
Smoking is not allowed on the motor-coach. Frequent stops are made and smoking outside of the motorcoach in designated smoking areas is allowed. Please note smoking is not allowed in many of the State and National Parks we travel through.
Special Dietary Needs
We understand there are special dietary needs such as vegetarian and gluten-free and guests with food allergies. We will request your special dietary needs in advance, however, guests should note we are unable to make any guarantees. We encourage you to bring along any alternative supplements in the event that meet your dietary needs in the event that your request cannot be accommodated.

Travelers Needing Special Assistance

What Should I Wear
This is a predominantly casual tour. Casual wear is suggested for sightseeing and daytime traveling. Good walking shoes are essential. It can be cold in the mornings and evenings, so layering and bringing a jacket is recommended. Dress code for most evenings is smart casual.
What's Not Included
Prices do not include air travel or ground travel expenses to and from the tour, all items of a personal nature, food and beverages not outlined as part of the tour or gratuities (at your discretion) to your Tour Director and Driver.
